Videobot is a simple wooden robot that can move within the two-dimensional plane. Continuously moving, Videobot recognizes, by means of a camera with face recognition, whether someone is standing in front of it. From that moment on, Videobot tries to follow the person within its limited space and speed.
Mechanics is an important visual part of the work. The vertical movement is done with the help of gear belts and the horizontal movement with wheels. Sensors determine the boundaries of the plane within which Videobot can move.
